The safety of our all-volunteer driving force is a priority. Clients are given a shelf-stable meal to use for weather closures; an additional shelf-stable meal is given after usage.

Please read the following for clarification about our policy.

• We do not deliver in the snow or ice.
• We are a countywide operation and must consider road conditions for the entire county.
• Our decision to close our offices is made in the early morning in order to stop meal production.
• The definitive way to know if we are closed is to call our main number at 817-336-0912; we will update the message between 6 a.m. and 7 a.m. to reflect delivery changes.
• When watching closing announcements on TV, please be aware of other Meals On Wheels programs in the area and make sure it is Tarrant County that is closed. Call 817-336-0912 for current information.

We appreciate your time, concern, and effort in delivering meals to our homebound clients of Tarrant County. We couldn't feed this many clients without your continued support!
