I just make other people happy.

I've had a good life. I never thought I'd live this long.

I sit here and think of you kids running around and all the Christmases we had. It's nothing fancy, but I love this house.

I have trouble standing and cooking. It would get so depressing, and then someone would knock on the door and bring me a hot meal. I am so blessed.

I've been giving monthly for two years. Knowing that my small contribution helps deliver meals to someone who might otherwise go hungry, it's the easiest good decision I make every month.

My mom lived alone in her later years, so I know how much a warm meal and a friendly face can mean. Supporting Meals on Wheels feels like a small way to give that comfort to someone else's parent.
