Meals On Wheels, Inc. of Tarrant County is looking for support for a mobile delivery app to enhance meal delivery for volunteers. This new application coordinator position will help develop the program support and coordinate with all stakeholders.
Part-time position, 20 hours a week, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Must be available morning hours during meal delivery.
Duties:
Work with app developer, Shiftsmart, to complete the process of development. Learn the dashboard to manage the app in house at Meals On Wheels. Set up processes to get other volunteers engaged to utilize the app. Training and supporting volunteers using the app. Development and implementation of training materials.
Hourly plus mileage and cell phone allowance.
Skills:
- Technical support by integrating the app with the agency’s database
- Working knowledge of ACCESS and EXCEL
- Public speaking
- Training procedures
- Willing to travel to meal distribution sites throughout Tarrant County
- Meal delivery, as needed
