Holiday and Seasonal Gift Ideas

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

Many of our clients are isolated and have no family or friends to visit them. Consequently, we strive to give every client a gift during the holiday season. If you are adopting clients on your regular delivery route, you do not need to bring the gifts to the Meals On Wheels office.  You can begin delivering those gifts the week of December 12th.

However, if you would like to donate additional gifts for clients who have not been adopted, please bring those wrapped gifts to the Meals On Wheels office, located at 5740 Airport Freeway in Haltom City during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, between November 28th – December 5th. Be sure to indicate whether the gift is intended for a male or female client.

Former Meals On Wheels volunteer, Alan Lundgren, better known as “Santa Claus,”  loved delivering holiday gifts to our homebound clients.  Although Alan is no longer with us, he continues to inspire the Christmas spirit in everyone who knew him.
