As temperatures rise across North Texas, many seniors and adults with disabilities face a difficult reality: staying cool can be a matter of health and safety.
For many of the neighbors served by Meals On Wheels Inc. of Tarrant County, cooling their homes isn’t as simple as adjusting the thermostat. Limited incomes, aging equipment, and rising utility costs can leave vulnerable individuals at risk during the hottest months of the year.
If you would prefer to donate items directly, you can purchase much-needed supplies through our Amazon Wish List and have them shipped directly to our office. Every item donated helps us ensure our neighbors in need have access to the resources they need to stay safe and comfortable this summer.
