What Mac and Lib receive from us goes far beyond a meal. Lib is able to spend every day with the man she’s loved for more than 75 years. They also receive nutritional counseling, friendly visits from volunteers, and assistance with other needs. Consider a donation to provide for our greatest generation so their golden years aren’t tarnished by hunger.

You won’t be taking a chance on lucky Friday the 13th if you attend our 3rd annual Casino Night  — it’s a sure bet! Casino Night is the coolest and glitziest fundraising event benefiting home-delivered meals for Tarrant County’s homebound residents. This year’s theme is Vintage Vegas, celebrating the days of the Rat Pack. We’ll be back at the beautiful Ridglea Country Club with the same great vibe but an improved check-in process and poker tournament. Trey & the Tritones will return to play all the tunes that get us dancing. The live music is truly unforgettable!

We are honored to be awarded a 2013 Expanding the Vision Grant through the Meals On Wheels Association of America and the Walmart Foundation. The grant will be used for a new project to reduce re-hospitalizations and improve care of recently discharged patients by providing meals within Tarrant County. With the average hospitalization cost $25,000, if we reduce hospitalization of 60 clients, the project could potentially save $1.5 million, which is a return on investment of 1,400%.

Our office will be closed and we will not deliver meals July 4. Our clients will receive meals in advance.
