The Banfield Charitable Trust has granted us $1,000 to help our clients with pet care services for their beloved furry companions.  The grant will help cover the costs of vaccinations, emergency care, boarding, grooming, nail care, etc.  Both Banfield Charitable Trust and Meals On Wheels, Inc. of Tarrant County care about the health and safety of not only our human clients but by extension our four-legged ones, too!

We recently learned that we passed the Meals On Wheels Association of America's Magnet Accreditation! This is similar to the Better Business Bureau's seal of approval for all independent MOWAA member agencies. It involved a rigorous process that included on-site observation and interviews. "On the national level, we hear that our agency is the example others strive to achieve," said our executive director, Carla Jutson. "Staff, board, volunteers, and the community are the reasons."
